An early rising (to my husband’s chagrin) northern Californian, transplanted to small-town New England. Food, travel, books, and sharing those with family and friends keep me going. The two most important things I can teach my students: “Ever tried. Ever failed. No matter. Try again. Fail again. Fail better” (Beckett). “Everyone needs an editor” (me, and probably others).
